NO. Anyone can gather a group of individuals to participate in and process the material together. The program content is self-directed and requires no trained facilitation.

Here are Host responsibilities to make the program experience enriching for your group:

• Encourage interested members to check out Destiny Living.
• Decide on a regular, consistent day/time to meet – either in person or online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc. The unit content is designed for a 10-week, 1–2-hour group meeting, depending on your group size and discussion preferences.

• Register yourself as a leader HERE and receive online access to the program and the digital leader guide.
•  Have your participants purchase either the Course Materials book or their own online access and digital materials.
• A weekly email reminder to your group, a day or two prior to the meeting, is always recommended. If you’re watching the videos individually and in advance of your discussion group, encourage members to come prepared by completing the unit lessons and being ready to share their insights.

Here are some ideas to help structure your group:

• Begin and end each session in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and revelation.
• Consider using the following questions to encourage conversation:
  1. What concepts/materials impacted you most in this unit?
  2. What insights did you get from the material?
  3. How does this information relate to you, personally? (Share a personal example of when you’ve experienced the concept being presented).
  4. What changes would you like to make as a result of knowing this information?
• If you plan to watch the videos together in person, make sure you have access to a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, computer, projector, and/or screen to display the lesson. It’s always advisable for participants to watch the videos in advance, even if you’re meeting together. This will prompt deeper, more thoughtful conversations among members.
• If you plan to meet online, be sure your group knows how to navigate on Zoom or Teams. Become familiar with the navigation tools to screen-share. Be sure to activate the sound by clicking on the audio box before playing videos/audios.
• If your online group is larger than 5 members, breakout rooms are recommended to ensure all have the opportunity to talk. A good breakout room size is 3-4 members.
• As the Host, you oversee the time and conversation flow to make sure all participate. You can also invite group members to lead other units.
• When the program is complete, consider hosting another group and invite your participants to reach out and host their own small group.
