We’re in week three of the series on “The Secret to Hearing GOD’s Heart for You,” and we’ve been focusing on the topic of Fasting. Last week Doreen discussed some resources and practical tips to help you get started. This week Doreen will share about the types of fasting and the incredible benefits.

If we’re honest, most of us today would say fasting is too hard or inconvenient, or unpopular, or even unnecessary. But followers in the faith over the centuries understood fasting, or affliction of soul, or self-denial was the most sincere and serious way to demonstrate worship, adoration, repentance, and proper posturing or “fear of the Lord.”
